I bought my first actual quality bass guitar today, a very very nice Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass. Got an amazing deal, it was demod for a short amount of time, it was under $700. Anyways, there seems to be Geddy Lee's autograph on the back of the neck, it is in a black colorIs this a real autograph by Geddy himself?  Question about bass

Oh lol, no no no.

I like to play alternative rock songs, and lately Ive taken interest in RATM. But I like metal and progressive rock, such as Rush and Dream Theater.

In all honesty, I got the bass because it was under $700, the sound quality will be great, it will be worth $700 in 10 years, and I have played this junky bass alot.
