i dont get it.i just dont get it.how did a country who nearly conquered the world become what it is today?a country with barely any power or say in the world or even in terms of currency.it seems unreal the fact that after gengis kahn the whole thing just collapsed and the country was just shunned aside.gengis khan would be ashamed.the mongolions

Massacring entire cities kind of went out of styIe a few hundreds years ago when democracy became the new ''fad'' in government. Chinghis Khan himself was pretty much the only thing that kept the ''empire'' together. After he died, it started falling apart and greed between subordinate khans took root. That and fear can only help you govern a place for so long, after a while you have to actually help the society prosper instead of just killing them.
