Gamespot is my escape...with music playing in the backround of course

I've been down that road where I would have a CS clan for years, and break up. I never really got over it to be honest, because those were very happy times for me. I started the clan from scratch and lead my team to victory numerous times. I was respected. But we got older, and we split up.I can't describe the feeling I had back in 2000, it was like we were on our way to being pro gamers. But after splitting 6 years ago, I never really connected with CS again.Anyway, it wasn't the memory of winning matches that was great, it was the memory of losing matches, and the journey us 6 had together to try to get better.So... Now that CS is no longer part of my life now, Gamespot has helped me a great deal. Just the forums and listening to Youtube music is entertaining me enough to replace video games right now. Idk, no games interest me anymore after my life experience with that cs clan.Anyone have any similiar experiences? Gamespot is my escape...with music playing in the backround of course
I can relate to that. It's the only place to vent and express myself. That's a very underrated quality I think. Gamespot is my escape...with music playing in the backround of course

This is the most depressing thing I have ever read.
Get a social life.
Yeah, I had a similar experience. After playing EverQuest1 for so many years. All other mmo's seem weak in comparison. I mostly just hang out here and listen to lastfm. Mess around on some steam games. I'm itching for a new and actually good mmo. :(

Ouch
Hmm. I've been part of graphic design teams (and still am). I've been doing it for some time, but I've never really connected with any e-team all that much. Sure I'll kind of miss some of my team mates and wonder what happened to them, but I don't lose any sleep over it. There are always people to replace them; who are just as cool. While that may sound kind of impersonal and stuff, it really isn't that big a deal for me.
