Because they are girls :PWhy is it ok for girls to be lesbi@n/bisexual but not for guys?
I haven't noticed a difference between the social outlook on homosexual females and males.
Lesbians are only ''socially acceptable'' (although i'd still say they aren't really) because a lot of guys are attracted by it.
Because lesbianism=HOT
Gay=......rather not think about it...
I don't think either sex has it easier when it comes to being gay.There are a ton of guys out there who think that bi/gay girls are really hot and a major turn-on and stuff like that, and then you have a bunch of girls who strive to have gay guy friends and think that it's really cute...and then the hate/intolerance goes both ways as well.
There's no noticeable difference I've found :|
In a civilized place every sex is socially acceptable. And in an intolerant toilet-country you find they hate the whole idea of same sex relations in general.
It's okay for guys just the same as girls. Though, I don't think guys can be lesbian.

''Bill! We have a closet-dweller!''
Because some guys and girls are attracted to them, which is not tha case for the other.
That's simply not true.

Double standards. But in reality, it's the same for both.

The really butch lesbian girls don't get as much ''love'' or tolerance as the more...I don't know a word for it....subtle(?) lesbians.
That double standard is common among teenage boys. Someone who thinks it's fine for girls to kiss in public but not guys is too naive to realise how foolish that is. Of course when you point out the hypocrisy you get called a *** lover which always makes me laugh. I think it's best if you avoid these hypocrites. They're trying to poison logic and reason.
Men are the dominant sex(although a lot has changed recently, women haven't dethroned men yet) and have been for thousands of years. Since men are the dominant sex, they are the ones who control social dynamics such as how sexual orientation is accepted. Men have been taught to ostracize homosexuality in men and be attracted to it in women. So...connect the dots.

Me neither, lesbians don't get beat up by a gang of guys (well not commonly) where as gay males do commonly, I mean think about all the killings you've heard about happening to gays, almost all were guys.
because lesbians are hot
I think you mean some... lets not forget
