Ashide from the dark knight, you can choose it if you want but I think there are much better films this year. These are my top 5:) There are some more coming out this year, but not tons that look really interesting to me.1. Slumdog Millionare2.Let the right one in3. In Bruges 4. Burn After reading5. The FallBest movie of 2008?
Let The Right One In was awesome...I'll go with that one.Best movie of 2008?

Most new movies have sucked...some have just sucked less than the others.

The whole thing with the gender confusion of Eli was done very well and it really showed that the relationship between the two characters didnt need to be sexual at all, they are two sides of the same character in a way. I hope this film gets nominated for an oscar this year, it deserves it. Best vampire film I have seen since Shadow of the vampire. Unfortunatly I doubt they will put the gender story in the remake, the director of the remake is the same guy who directed Cloverfield:(
I don't know... Burn After Reading, I guess.

And I happen to like my summer action movies. :x

Omg I know -- lets not even talk about the remake. Just the idea is already butchering the masterpiece that this one is.
http://www.aintitcool.com/node/38870 Here is a really good interview with the director, I am really interested in seeing what he does next. Why the director of cloverfield was chosen to direct a beautiful film like this is a bit odd though.

Can there really be any debate?
I haven't seen much from this year, so my range of choice is very limited: The Dark Knight or Flight of the Red Balloon (I don't think this one even came out in '08 ).
In bruges has been my favorite this year
Can there really be any debate?
That movie was awesome:o
Probably In Bruges, haven't seen many others.
