God its bad at mine, since there are less than 30 kids at the school and more than half of them love twilight its all I hear about. The girl I saw it with is now telling everyone that I loved it for some reason, even though I clearly didnt. And when I recommend the film Let the right one in, they refuse to see it because it is ''Foreign and doesnt have any hot guys or girls.'' A few even dress up as vampires most of the day. Anyone else have Twilight fanatics at their school?

Yes...there are soooo many RIDICULOUS Twilight fanatics at my school. This past week, I seriously saw hundreds of copies of the Twilight books in the halls and in classes. Everywhere I went I heard talk of Twilight. GOD, it drove me insane, and I've even read the books myself!

|Oh God, it must suck for both of you. I only know one Twilight fanatic and it irritates me everytime she talks about it! There are other Twilight readers but not fanatics.

They don't love vampires... they love... ugh, I don't even think there's a name for it.

I've read the books (easy read) and I tried talking to them about the books and they just looked at me like, ''Yeah, like you read the books.'' I love vampires way before the books even came out. I read the books before they even read them. :| It just really frustrates me. I'd like to see them say they love vampires when they see them portrayed as dark, cynical, and sadistic creatures of the night.
I've seen none at mine, actually. *crosses fingers*
No, I do not believe anyone at my school has the brain capacity to read more then two sequential sentences, no matter how simplistic the material.
Yes. Sadly, one of them is one of my best friends. I listened to a rant of her's that had to be at least 30 minutes on how the casting director for the movie majorly f'd up on pretty much everything. She has redeeming qualities, I swear.

Same
I went to the movies the other day and I stopped one of my friends from yelling, ''So how many of you ****[censored word = bundle of sticks...] came to see Twilight?!'' ...oh the friends I keep... :?
There is even a girl at my school has has multiple copies of all the twilight books, she dresses as a vampire complete with fake vampire teeth, and she frames pictures of edward. She has said many times that she wants to marry edward.

Thank God I finished school years ago. This whole Twilight craze seems like the female equilant of a Trekkie or extreme Star Wars fan.
I only know 2(thank God) but unfortunately I live with one; my 13 year old sister. The other girl is just obsessed with vampires, period.

Is Twilight in America what Tokio Hotel is in Europe?
