Perfect pop songs
I don't like pop. Rock is much better.Perfect pop songs
Dancing Queen.
To link you *link*. As for perfect pop songs, I'd say The Beach Boys (I Wasn'y Made For These Times, Caroline No) and The Beatles (We Can Work it Out, Yesterday, Rain, Hey Jude, Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields Forever). I'm sure there's some others I may consider, but I can't think of them right now.
Oh man, I totally forgot... There Must Be An Angel - Eurythmics... Pop doesn't get more perfect than THAT.

There you go....good songs but needs some Michael Jackson.
Pop from the 80's > Every other pop

Like it or not but I'd say Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' is as close to a perfect pop album as you are going to get.
maybe you guys should get your heads out of the clouds and listen to real music.

Real inspired music like the awesome Blues sounds of Stevie Ray Vaughan. Also meaningful lyrics that come from the Heart and not that lame pop crap that half of them don't even write themselves and then lip sync.
And blues has what to do with the topic? No one even said pop was good, just what the best pop song was.

Not all pop music is Britney Spears bubble gum. Pop can be a pretty broad term and can include such artists as The Beatles, Elvis Costello, Michael Jackson, Prince, The Kinks, The Beach Boys, Randy Newman, The Flaming Lips, Belle and Sebastian, Simon and Garfunkel, The Smiths, Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, various rap, and you can even consider any popular music pop music. Don't tell me none of these artists are not inspired and don't at least have some meaningful songs.

Not everything has to be bubblegum-pop Personally, I'm quite partial to Wraith Pined to the Mist by Of Montreal, and yes, it was in that Outback commercial with other words
I saw the thread title and thought Just Like Heaven by The Cure.
So Sad About Us by The Who what a undarrated song, hell the ''A Quick One'' album in general is really undarrated so much better than ''My Genetation.''
