See, I've been having a problem with this for a while now. I fill up the container (it's for the mower, weed eater, etc.) and sit it out back and it magically disappears. So, a few days ago, I filled it up with mostly water and added enough gas to float on the top. I noticed it was empty when I took the dog outside just now. It was full last night. So what will that do to a car? I want to know what to look for in my neighborhood so I know who to confront. So, someone is stealing my gas
Fill up the container with something that resembles gas and watch them ruin their car :DSo, someone is stealing my gas
Fill up the container with something that resembles gas and watch them ruin their car :D
Yeah, that's kinda what I did.
I had a friend that made the mistake of getting his gas tank in his car filled all the way up and someone stoll most of it from him.My advise to you is to simply not fill it all the way up,only pus t the ammount in that you need in order to get the job done.

You used water. Use like, Sprite or acid or salty water.

Try to fit a solid object into the tank. :P

So what if it destroys his car, what could he do? Sue him saying that he put soda in his car that he STOLE from someone else? That would be a nonsense case, and make him look stupid for busting himself.

Indeed, but easier to spot. I think the water thing was clever though. He'll just have to play the waiting game to see if anyone comes out and steals it again. My advice is to get some sort of motion detecting light. I would recommend setting a camera, but if they saw it they'd just steal that too.

Get a lock for your shed?
Here are some solutions: You could uhh pee in it. Okay thats the first thing. I had to put that on the table. Secondly, you could attach a string to the container and as they try to steal pull it along. You could put a net above it so that it'll fall on them when they try to steal it. Heat the container so when they try to pick it up they will burn their hands. Release several armour plated dogs like the ones from The Witcher. Place a copy of the game Daikatana next to the container. Write on the container ''If found please return unused'' along with your address. Put up a scarecrow
Fill it with methane and see what house explodes :D.
Water will make the car not run, and I believe they'll need to get their gas tank completely drained. My sister filled up the mower with water by accident once and it was a huge to do.

put some kind of weird stuff in there. put salty water in there and sugar because of the little grains would damage the engine. i hope u do get the person who keeps on stealing the oil.
