The paranormal

I have always been fascinated with the paranormal. I guess you could say I've always been curious about the unknown. A recent movie called ''The Haunting in Conneticut'', has sparked it recently. In case some of you are unaware, there was a documentary four years prior to the movies release on Discovery Channel's program called ''A Haunting''. It's one of the more interesting cases that I have heard about, as a family moved in Southington, CT since it was closer to the clinic that was treating their son with cancer. The family ended up renting a house which seemed cheap in value due to it's immense size, but later uncover that their home was a mortuary. The two boys lived in the basement and saw groups of people talking among themselves, and their was a ''demon'' who took form of a human who tormented the kid with cancer, and his behavior changed radically.Other weird incidents include mopping the floor, with it turning into blood. A really creepy case. I have the URL for the documentary if anyone is interested, sorry if it's not working not really good with HTML so if someone could link it properly that would be great. But it kind of made the hair on my back raise a little. I think with all movies that are based off true story's there is a little Hollywood added to it, so I thought the documentary was a more accurate account.

The problem I have with the paranormal is people approach it with the concept of it being magical, or mystical. But it's really just explainable through laws of physics we don't understand yet.The paranormal
I also thought I would add that I have a buddy from the Conneticut, who lived about 20 mins from the house. I guess he said it's abandon now, but he was in the house with a few buddies during Halloween and said they didn't see anything out of the blue, but did say they heard weird noises coming out of the basement(which I believe a majority of the hauntings took place).

I don't know, but thats why I believe there is a after life, after death. I understand that some people believe their is in explanation through science, but the Bible is a very ancient book which has been used to cast out dark entities and spirits hauntings in homes. That's why I tend to lean more towards the non-side of science when it comes to paranormal activities.
Dude the discovery channel show A Haunting totally freaks me out, lol. I watch it sometimes(used to watch it every thursday) like at 11PM, by the end of the show I don't even want to walk up stairs into my bed, scared a ghost is going to jump out. But yah i do vaguely remember watching that episode. I myself believe in the paranormal, idk, to much freaky stuff happens to just be coincidence, well imo that is.

I frequently watch that show as well... I haven't watched it in awhile though since I don't have cable anymore.
That family should have called TAPS  :P
The paranormal amazes me. If there is any subject I would want to study to any large extent, it'd be the study of the paranormal.

They could make a movie out of that.
Wow that is a pretty weird case...
I've seen the show and that movie about the kid with cancer.  I don't really know what to think when it comes to the paranormal.

That episode is weird, I don't even know how he could tolerate living in that basement after all the things he saw. When I was looking up that case, a lot of the former morticians we're necrophiliacs I guess.
I don't even see them making it into a movie. There was no sign of struggle and they wandered around in the dark completely blinded near a set of trees for hours naked before trying to walk back to camp and they were smacked with enough radiation or foreign material to alter the color of their skin, and one was missing her tounge and another had chest damage equivalent to being hit by a large highspeed car.I don't even see Hollywood managing to fill in the gaps without completely altering the basis of the story, but then again, that is what Hollywood does.
I don't know about ghosts and such, but I watched a documentary last night about alien abductions and it creeped me out. I don't want no aliens messing with my privates. :(
