is it weird to find girls on the internet?

lately, i've been going to craigslist personal ads and been emailing girls. I feel kind of dirty after doing that. i havn't found luck really, usualy they email me back saying my profil is at this website.... do you find it weird for people to do it?  is it weird to find girls on the internet?

Yep, gotta say its a little weird but whatever floats your boat (Craiglist thing)But finding girls on Ot, GS or the internets is commonplace.
I dont think so. For a while I thought it was weird to do it just because a person was socially inane. But I see now its becomming a pretty socially normal thing to do. There are people that do mean to get out and mingle with the opposite sex and meet someone but time and activities in life interfer so why not advertise your a great guy or gal worth giving a chance on a date...
Is it weird finding girls on the internet? No, not really.Then again, I usually talk to a lot of my friends from school or places I've been, and a lot of them are girls. Maybe a video game site would be weird... But talking to girls on the internet is no big shocker to me...
