Gunmen attack targets in Indian city, American citizens targets of attacks.

Ive been watching the live feed from an Indian news station, apparently possibly hundreds of American/Western tourists are being held captive.http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/asiapcf/11/26/india.attacks/index.html CNN) -- Several people have been killed in a series of coordinated attacks targeting sites popular with tourists and business people, according to police and CNN's sister network in India. There was one report of a Marriott Hotel being targeted, IBN said. The targets include businesses frequented by international visitors.CNN correspondent Andrew Stevens said: ''We are getting reports of ongoing incidents at the railway station and the Oberoi Hotel.''We do not know if this has reached its peak or if more attacks to come.''A local journalist told CNN he had seen evidence of an attack at the city's domestic airport, which is on the outskirts of the Mumbai. IBN reported explosions at a gas station and inside a taxi on a dockside road. Attacks were reported at the Taj and Oberoi hotels, the popular Café Leopold, and Cama Hospital, and the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus railway station.Gunmen attack targets in Indian city, American citizens targets of attacks.
Hail the new age of peace and prosperity. Not to mention security :Gunmen attack targets in Indian city, American citizens targets of attacks.
|India's been suffering from many social problems lately, indigenous and exogenous. And I doubt American citizens were the only source of the targets. They've been dealing with Kashmiri militant attacks for a separation of the Kashmir province. Hindu separatists in North East Assam region who want separation from India and other extremist attacks between Hindus and Christians in many southern regions of the country. The government has to do their best to keep all this under control.

Sorry to break it to you but most countries are just as if not more than peaceful than the US. Many countries look at the murder rate, per capita and baulk. That before we factor in armed rampages and the likes.
Latest from Reuter's is at least 80 killed.
Latest from Reuter's is at least 80 killed.
Yeah, apparently the ATS Chief (Anti-Terrorist Squad) has been killed.

Do they have any idea who the hell is doing this? It sounds like it involves a lot of planning.
Don't worry America will come to the rescue!

Oh wait never mind that dude's leaving. Enjoy your wars.

And no this isn't a war, it's indigenous problems which India has been dealing with for quite a while now. And the US has never helped India out in anyway with its domestic terrorism or social problems whatsoever. So thanks but no thanks for taking credit for absolutely nothing.
''american citizens targets of attacks''  O rly? so theres indians there being shot, and americans are the target? what nonsence.  I was hearing this on fox news and I wanted to throw my remote at the TV.
They are reporting that terrrorists were requesting the room numbers of American and western citizens and they are apparently being reported to be held captive, this straight from an Idian news station, there have been multiple targets, and from Indian news stations, they include Americans/Westerners. No one knows how at true targets if any are, but its not impossible that when targetting Americans/Westerners that Indians were killed...there is no nonsense imo.
